One day is enough to change landscape. From Marrakech, the Atlas mountains, the Ourika valley, the Agafay desert, the Atlantic coast at Essaouira and the Ouzoud waterfalls are all within one to three hours’ drive. This section gathers our guides to each excursion: how long the road takes, what you see on the way and on site, what to bring, and how to organise the day whether you go by shared transport, private car or with a guide. We do not operate these trips ourselves, our sidecars stay in Marrakech and its immediate surroundings, but we know the half-days that frame them, and the best way to spend them back in town.
